I’m originally from Jamaica. I’ve been in the United States for about 15 years. I became a citizen about 4 years ago. I’m an inventor and entrepreneur. I received my first two-in-one utility patent in 2019. I write the non-provisional application myself and file the patent application on LegalZoom.

How did we get here?
2017
Filed a utility patent application
Make a homemade prototype, stroll around the city, and gather user feedback before taking the initial step in applying for our patent. After receiving positive feedback from people who were interested in purchasing the bag, we applied for our patent.
2019
Received Utility Patent
Our first patent was granted. However, this was not our first patent application. The first patent we applied for was for a different product back in 2013, we didn’t get that one because it already had some patented components. As a result, we changed course and applied for this patent in 2017. Don’t give up, ever. Turn around and start over. There will be a solution at some point. When you give up, that’s when you fail.
2023
